The manufacturer does not sell the 4-TEC fuel pump separately; they only sell the complete fuel pump module with a dealer price of well over 500 dollars. If your pump has failed, this is a much less expensive solution than purchasing the entire fuel pump module from a SeaDoo dealer. This fuel pump is a verified drop-in replacement for the original RFI pump. It utilizes the existing wiring harness. No splices or modifications are required. This fuel pump has been tested to ensure proper fuel pressure and amperage drawn across the RPM range. Other pumps tested had excessive amperage draw for the SeaDoo 4-TEC application, which can lead to premature rectifier failure or cause the battery charging circuit not to operate properly.
