The proprietary Powertrac design has an ovality of 10% and a timing of 112 degrees after top dead center, providing benefits such as greater rear wheel traction. The tooth profile was developed specifically for Shimano's XTR, XT, and SLX 12-speed Hyperglide+ chain.
